After the cinema, the Chihuahuas also conquer the videogame world!
Ubisoft wrote an original song for Just Dance 2016. Available in Italy from 22 October 2015 on Wii U, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The song “Chiwawa Song” is the creation of Japanese singer Reni Mimura and composer Tom Salta (already famous for soundtracks such as those of Tom Clancy, Prince of Persia, and Halo).
“I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard while composing a song,” Salta said, describing her experience as one of the most hilarious. And how to blame him! In fact “Chiwawa” also has its own music video in which bright colors and cats on photocopiers are the masters with an energetic and stupid choreography at the same time. Obviously in combination with funny and crazy visual elements such as: stars, cups, taps, hot dogs etc … All strictly “cute” and “nice” as defined by a Japanese word that expresses these concepts: Kawaii.
And after the classic internet kittens, now it’s the Chihuahua’s turn to go viral and meme icons … Let’s just hope they don’t throw up rainbows like unicorns too.
